In Thursday's non-league contest, the Poway Titans (Poway, CA) volleyball team overcame the host Granite Hills Eagles (El Cajon, CA), by a count of 2-0.

The Titans (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Scripps Ranch (San Diego, CA). The Falcons go into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record.

The Eagles now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Point Loma for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 9. Granite Hills will encounter a Pointers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Coronado (Coronado, CA). The Pointers record now stands at 0-1.
