Lake Park Lancers (Roselle, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Lake Park improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Lancers travel to Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL) to encounter the Cougars in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 1. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Storm now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glenbard North for a non-league test on Saturday, September 6.
