Illinois High School Flag Football - St. Francis defeats Geneva

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting St. Francis Spartans flag football team scored a nice 31-12 win over the Geneva Vikings.

With the win, St. Francis advances its record to 5-2 on the season. The Spartans host Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL) to play the Saxons in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 6. The Saxons go into the battle with a record of 4-0. Schaumburg won 27-0 in their recent league battle against Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL)

The Vikings now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Champaign Central for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 6. Geneva will play a Maroons team coming off a 20-16 league loss to Danville (Danville, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 1-1.
