The Piedmont Highlanders edged the visiting Miramonte Matadors flag football team by a score of 12-6 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Highlanders clash with the Tennyson Lancers (Hayward, CA) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 9. Piedmont will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Lancers enter the game with a 1-2 record after their 26-18 non-league loss to Mt. Diablo (Concord, CA).

The Matadors (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Clayton Valley Charter (Concord, CA). The Ugly Eagles enter the Diablo game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Clayton Valley Charter held off Emerald (Dublin, CA), 33-6, in a non-league game.
