In Thursday's non-league contest, the Wayzata Trojans (Plymouth, MN) soccer team routed the host Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, MN), by a count of 5-1.
Next, the Trojans face the Washburn Millers (Minneapolis, MN) in a Class AA Section 6 contest, on Saturday, September 6. Wayzata will attempt to upgrade on its 5-0 season record. The Millers enter the contest with a 1-4 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to Rosemount (Rosemount, MN).
The Bison (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Zimmerman (Zimmerman, MN). The Thunder go into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Zimmerman by North Branch (North Branch, MN), 8-2, in a non-league challenge.
