The Douglas Tigers soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting North Valleys Panthers to 2 in the Tigers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Tigers now hold a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Damonte Ranch for a 4A Northern - Sierra bout on Tuesday, September 9. Douglas will face a Mustangs team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over North Valleys (Reno, NV). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-0.
The Panthers (0-5) will now prepare for their game against Hug (Reno, NV). The Hawks enter the 4A Northern - High Desert game with a 0-5 record. In their last game, Hug was nipped by Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV), 8-0, in a non-league game.
