The East Mountain Timberwolves (Sandia Park, NM) soccer nipped the host Moriarty Pintos (Moriarty, NM), 1-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Timberwolves now hold a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bernalillo for a non-league contest on Wednesday, September 10. East Mountain will face a Spartans team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Highland (Albuquerque, NM). The Spartans record now stands at 3-2.
The Pintos (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Monte Del Sol Charter (Santa Fe, NM). The Dragons enter the non-league contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Monte Del Sol Charter was nipped by Ruidoso (Ruidoso, NM), 10-0, in a league contest.
