The Springfield Spartans soccer team (Akron, OH), was overwhelmed 8-0 in Thursday's league match with the visiting Field Falcons (Mogadore, OH)

With the triumph, Field moves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Falcons host Southeast (Ravenna, OH) to confront the Pirates in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 6. The Pirates enter the battle with a record of 6-1. Southeast won 6-0 in their recent league battle against Newton Falls (Newton Falls, OH)
