In Thursday's league outing, the visiting New Palestine Dragons soccer squad scored a tight 7-0 victory over the Yorktown Tigers.

The Dragons (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IN). The Golden Bears go into the Hoosier Heritage outing with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, Shelbyville edged Indian Creek (Trafalgar, IN), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Tigers now have a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Elwood for a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. Yorktown will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Anderson (Anderson, IN). The Panthers record now stands at 0-8.
