The Seaholm Maples walloped the host Avondale Yellowjackets football team by a score of 41-6 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Maples play the Bloomfield Hills Black Hawks (Bloomfield Hills, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Seaholm will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Black Hawks go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 29-24 non-league win over Royal Oak (Royal Oak, MI).
The Yellowjackets (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lutheran North (Macomb, MI). The Mustangs go into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Lutheran North bounced Marysville (Marysville, MI), 16-14, in a non-league challenge.
