In their next game, the Cougars play the Pleasant Valley Vikings (Chico, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 12. Spanish Springs will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Vikings go into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 27-6 non-league win over Inderkum (Sacramento, CA).

The Senators (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Lowry (Winnemucca, NV). The Buckaroos go into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Lowry was ripped by Elko (Elko, NV), 42-6, in a league challenge.
