The Middle Creek Mustangs football squad scored 14 points and limited the visiting Garner Trojans to 0 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to J.H. Rose for a non-league test on Thursday, September 18.

With the defeat, Garner drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to D.H. Conley (Greenville, NC) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 2-1. D.H. Conley won 49-32 in their recent non-league test against Farmville Central (Farmville, NC)
