With the win, Venice advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Gondoliers travel to Norwalk (Norwalk, CA) to meet the Lancers in a non-league test on Friday, September 12. The Lancers come into the test with a record of 1-2.

With the defeat, Harvard-Westlake drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Royal (Simi Valley, CA) to meet the Highlanders in a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. The Highlanders come into the test with a record of 2-0. Royal won 28-9 in their recent non-league challenge against Dos Pueblos (Goleta, CA)
