The Magna Vista Warriors football squad scored 49 points and limited the host Martinsville Bulldogs to 6 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Warriors now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rustburg for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. Magna Vista will meet a Red Devils squad coming off a 20-14 non-league loss to Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA). The Red Devils record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Martinsville moves to 0-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Glenvar (Salem, VA) to play the Highlanders in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 25. The Highlanders go into the challenge with a record of 1-0.
