The Montgomery Central Timberwolves got by the host North Stanly Comets football team by a score of 13-6 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Timberwolves face the Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Montgomery Central will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 3-0 record after their 47-7 non-league win over East Rowan (Salisbury, NC).

With the defeat, North Stanly falls to 1-1 on the year. The Comets travel to South Rowan (China Grove, NC) to face the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 10.
