The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC) and the visiting T.C. Roberson Rams (Asheville, NC), witnessed South Point's football squad knock off T.C. Roberson by a tally of 12-0.

The Red Raiders (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Mount Pleasant was toppled by Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 16-14, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Rams battle the Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 11. T.C. Roberson will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 28-6 non-league win over East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC).
