The Classical Purple soccer squad scored 1 points and held the visiting Central Falls Warriors to 0 in the Purple non-league victory on Thursday.
The Purple now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to East Greenwich for a non-league game on Saturday, September 6. Classical will face a Avengers team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Central (Providence, RI). The Avengers record now stands at 0-1.
The Warriors (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI). The Patriots come into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Portsmouth was nipped by South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI), 2-0, in a non-league bout.
