The Pirates now hold a 6-0 record. They play next when they host Heide Trask for a non-league bout on Monday, September 8. Topsail will play a Titans squad coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Hoggard (Wilmington, NC). The Titans record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Croatan moves to 2-4 on the year. The Cougars travel to New Bern (New Bern, NC) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Monday, September 8. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 1-1. New Bern won 3-0 in their recent non-league game against North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC)
