The Heritage Huskies soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Sanderson Spartans to 0 in the Huskies non-league victory on Thursday.
The Huskies now possess a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wakefield for a non-league game on Wednesday, September 10. Heritage will face a Wolverines team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over JV Opponent (, ). The Wolverines record now stands at 6-1.
The Spartans (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Athens Drive (Raleigh, NC). The Jaguars come into the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Athens Drive by Green Hope (Cary, NC), 3-0, in a non-league bout.
