In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Round Lake Panthers soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Highland Park Giants.
The Panthers (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Mundelein (Mundelein, IL). The Mustangs enter the non-league outing with a 0-5 record. In their last outing, Mundelein Jacobs (Algonquin, IL), 1-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Giants clash with the Woodstock North Thunder (Woodstock, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 6. Highland Park will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Thunder come into the test with a 2-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Badger (Lake Geneva, WI).
