The Northfield Nighthawks soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Legacy Lightning to 0 in the Nighthawks non-league victory on Thursday.
The Nighthawks now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Regis Groff for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 10. Northfield will play a Fusion squad coming off a 9-1 non-league win over DSST: Green Valley Ranch (Denver, CO). The Fusion record now stands at 1-2.
The Lightning (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Castle View (Castle Rock, CO). The Sabercats come into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Castle View by Chatfield (Littleton, CO), 1-0, in a non-league game.
