The Timnath Cubs edged the host Mead Mavericks soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Cubs now hold a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Arrupe Jesuit for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 17.
With the loss, Mead moves to 0-1 on the year. The Mavericks travel to Severance (Severance, CO) to encounter the Silver Knights in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 11. The Silver Knights go into the challenge with a record of 2-1.
