Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Cooper Jaguars (Union, KY) and the visiting Boone County Rebels (Florence, KY), observed Cooper's volleyball team top Boone County by a tally of 2-0.

The Jaguars (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Walton-Verona (Walton, KY). The Bearcats enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Walton-Verona was beaten by Scott (Covington, KY), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Rebels encounter the Campbell County Camels (Alexandria, KY) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 9. Boone County will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Camels go into the test with a 0-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Grant County (Dry Ridge, KY).
