With the win, Eastern Mennonite improves its record to 1-2 on the season. The Flames host New Covenant (Lynchburg, VA) to encounter the Gryphons in a battle on Thursday, September 25. The Gryphons go into the test with a record of 4-3.

The Warriors now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Redeemer Classical for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Grace Christian will face a Griffins squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Appalachian Christian School (Waynesboro, VA). The Griffins record now stands at 2-0.
