In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Elizabeth Cardinals volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Woodland Park Panthers.

The Cardinals (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Prospect Ridge Academy (Broomfield, CO). The Miners enter the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Prospect Ridge Academy edged Eagle Ridge Academy (Brighton, CO), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers play the Banning Lewis Academy Stallions (Colorado Springs, CO) in a challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Woodland Park will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Stallions come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Windsor Charter Academy (Windsor, CO).
