Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the King/Drew Golden Eagles (Los Angeles, CA) and the host Gardena Panthers (Gardena, CA), observed King/Drew's volleyball squad notch a victory over Gardena by a count of 2-0.

The Golden Eagles (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against West Adams (Los Angeles, CA). The Panthers go into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, West Adams achieved victory over Franklin (Los Angeles, CA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

The Panthers now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Santee for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 11.
