Owensboro Catholic Aces (Owensboro, KY) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Grayson County Cougars (Leitchfield, KY), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Owensboro Catholic upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Aces host Castle (Newburgh, IN) to meet the Knights in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 9. The Knights go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Cougars now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host McLean County for a non-league test on Monday, September 8. Grayson County will face a Cougars squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hopkinsville (Hopkinsville, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 3-2.
