In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Jay County Patriots volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Wapahani Raiders.

The Patriots (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Bluffton (Bluffton, IN). The Tigers go into the test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, Bluffton achieved victory over Northfield (Wabash, IN), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Raiders now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eastern Hancock for a test on Wednesday, September 10. Wapahani will meet a Royals team coming off a 2-0 league win over Union (Modoc, IN). The Royals record now stands at 6-5.
