Martinsville Bluestreaks (Martinsville, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Paris Tigers (Paris, IL), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Martinsville improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bluestreaks host James River (Buchanan, VA) to face the Knights in a non-league test on Thursday, September 18. The Knights go into the test with a record of 6-0.
The Tigers now own a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sullivan for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 8. Paris will meet a Redskins team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Meridian (Macon, IL). The Redskins record now stands at 1-0.
