The Johnson Central Golden Eagles (Paintsville, KY) soccer overwhelmed the host Bath County Wildcats (Owingsville, KY), 7-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Golden Eagles now hold a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Hazard for a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 9. Johnson Central will battle a Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 league win over Perry County Central (Hazard, KY). The Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs record now stands at 7-2.
The Wildcats (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Prestonsburg (Prestonsburg, KY). The Blackcats enter the non-league contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Prestonsburg held off Shelby Valley (Pikeville, KY), 14-0, in a league contest.
