In Thursday's non-league contest, the Lafayette Central Catholic Knights (Lafayette, IN) soccer team edged the host Carroll Cougars (Flora, IN), by a margin of 2-1.
The Knights now hold a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Benton Central for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 9. Lafayette Central Catholic will encounter a Bison squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over North Montgomery (Crawfordsville, IN). The Bison record now stands at 7-1.
