In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Caston Comets soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Wabash Apaches.
The Comets (1-3) will now prepare for their outing against North White (Monon, IN). The Vikings go into the non-league outing with a 6-1 record. In their last outing, North White got by North Miami (Denver, IN), 10-1, in a non-league test.
The Apaches now have a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they host Oak Hill for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9.
