The Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC) soccer routed the host Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC), 4-0 in Thursday's non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Panthers encounter the Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 8. Piedmont will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Timberwolves go into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 5-0 non-league win over West Stanly (Oakboro, NC).
With the loss, Central Cabarrus drops to 1-4 on the season. The Vikings host Olympic (Charlotte, NC) to battle the Trojans in a Greater Metro (GMAC) 6A/7A contest on Tuesday, September 9. The Trojans enter the contest with a record of 4-2. Olympic won 4-2 in their recent non-league contest against East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC)
