The Dixon Bulldogs edged the visiting Southwest Onslow Stallions soccer team by a tally of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Dixon will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Buccaneers go into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over J.H. Rose (Greenville, NC).
With the loss, Southwest Onslow moves to 0-3 on the year. The Stallions host Northside - Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC) to encounter the Monarchs in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 8.
