In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Franklin Academy Huskies soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 win over the Plattsburgh Hornets.
The Huskies (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Salmon River (Fort Covington, NY). The Shamrocks enter the Section 10 Central outing with a 0-0 record.
Next up, the Hornets confront the Keene Central Beavers (Keene Valley, NY) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 6. Plattsburgh will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Beavers go into the outing with a 0-2 record after their 5-1 league loss to Johnsburg Central (North Creek, NY).
