The Johnson Crusaders edged the host Union Farmers soccer team by a tally of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next, the Crusaders face the Governor Livingston Highlanders (Berkeley Heights, NJ) in a Mountain Valley - Mountain game, on Tuesday, September 9. Johnson will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record.
With the loss, Union moves to 1-1 on the year. The Farmers travel to Westfield (Westfield, NJ) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league contest on Thursday, September 11. The Blue Devils enter the contest with a record of 2-0.
