In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Lakeridge Pacers soccer squad scored a tight 4-2 win over the Mountainside Mavericks.
The Pacers (2-0) will now prepare for their test against McMinnville (McMinnville, OR). The Grizzlies come into the non-league test with a 0-0 record. In their last test, McMinnville South Salem (Salem, OR), 1-1, in a non-league test.
The Mavericks now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Putnam for a non-league test on Monday, September 8. Mountainside will clash with a Kingsmen team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Corvallis (Corvallis, OR). The Kingsmen record now stands at 1-1.
