The Mahtomedi Zephyrs soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting St. Thomas Academy Cadets to 1 in the Zephyrs non-league victory on Thursday.

The Zephyrs now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Tartan for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 9. Mahtomedi will play a Titans squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to East Ridge (Woodbury, MN). The Titans record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, St. Thomas Academy moves to 1-3 on the year. The Cadets travel to Blake (Minneapolis, MN) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 6. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Blake won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against St. Paul Academy-Summit (St. Paul, MN)
