In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Mounds Park Academy Panthers soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 win over the New Life Academy Eagles.

The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against St. Croix Lutheran (West St. Paul, MN). The Crusaders come into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, St. Croix Lutheran St. Agnes (St. Paul, MN), 0-0, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Maranatha Christian Academy for a non-league test on Monday, September 8. New Life Academy will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to St. Croix Prep (Stillwater, MN). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-5.
