The Whetstone Braves soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting Northland Vikings to 1 in the Braves league victory on Thursday.
The Braves now hold a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Linden-McKinley for a Columbus City - North bout on Tuesday, September 9.
The Vikings (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Big Walnut (Sunbury, OH). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Big Walnut held off Westerville South (Westerville, OH), 5-0, in a league game.
