In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Truman Patriots soccer squad scored a tight 7-2 victory over the Oak Grove Panthers.

The Patriots (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Raytown (Raytown, MO). The Bluejays go into the non-league outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, Raytown got by Chrisman (Independence, MO), 6-1, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lone Jack for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. Oak Grove will clash with a Mules team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Barstow (Kansas City, MO). The Mules record now stands at 1-1.
