The Sanford Warriors (Hockessin, DE) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Odessa Ducks (Townsend, DE), 7-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Warriors now hold a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tower Hill for a Independent - DISC contest on Tuesday, September 9. Sanford will face a Hillers team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Caravel Academy (Bear, DE). The Hillers record now stands at 2-1.
The Ducks (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Cape Henlopen (Lewes, DE). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
