The Pueblo West Cyclones soccer squad scored 7 points and held the visiting Widefield Gladiators to 1 in the Cyclones non-league victory on Thursday.
The Cyclones now hold a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pueblo South for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 9. Pueblo West will face a Colts team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Falcon (Falcon, CO). The Colts record now stands at 1-2.
The Gladiators (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Pueblo East (Pueblo, CO). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Pueblo East was overwhelmed by Pueblo South (Pueblo, CO), 5-0, in a league game.
