The Blanchard Lions softball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Dickson Comets to 1 in the Lions non-league win on Thursday.
The Lions now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Plainview for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Blanchard will meet a Indians squad coming off a 21-0 non-league win over Ardmore (Ardmore, OK). The Indians record now stands at 14-2.
The Comets (10-9) will now prepare for their test against Cache (Cache, OK). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 14-6 record. In their last test, Cache got by Lindsay (Lindsay, OK), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
