The Sulphur Bulldogs softball team scored 5 runs and held the host Calera Bulldogs to 4 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Thursday.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Atoka Wampus Cats (Atoka, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Sulphur will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Wampus Cats go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Coalgate (Coalgate, OK).

With the loss, Calera moves to 4-4 on the season.
