In Thursday's non-league test, the Marshfield Bluejays (Marshfield, MO) softball team routed the host Cassville Wildcats (Cassville, MO), by a margin of 14-2.

The Bluejays now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Norwood for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 9.

With the loss, Cassville moves to 1-2 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Carl Junction (Carl Junction, MO) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Class 3 District 12 bout on Monday, September 8. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Carl Junction won 13-8 in their recent non-league bout against McDonald County (Anderson, MO)
