The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Commerce Tigers (Commerce, OK) and the host Quapaw Wildcats (Quapaw, OK), observed Commerce's softball team notch a victory over Quapaw by a tally of 11-3.

The Tigers (8-6) will now prepare for their bout against Afton (Afton, OK). The Eagles go into the 2A bout with a 1-9 record. In their last bout, Afton gained a win over Welch (Welch, OK), 10-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Sequoyah Indians (Tahlequah, OK) in a non-league bout, on Monday, September 8. Quapaw will attempt to advance on its 5-6 season record. The Indians come into the match with a 15-8 record after their 8-1 non-league win over Broken Bow (Broken Bow, OK).
