In Thursday's non-league test, the Del City Eagles (Del City, OK) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Grant Generals (Oklahoma City, OK), by a margin of 12-2.

The Eagles now sport a 1-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Classen SAS for a non-league outing on Friday, September 5. Del City will encounter a Comets team coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Will Rogers College (Tulsa, OK). The Comets record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Grant moves to 2-3 on the season. The Generals travel to Douglass (Oklahoma City, OK) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 4-2. Douglass lost 12-11 in their recent non-league test against Classen SAS (Oklahoma City, OK)
