The Millard West Wildcats overwhelmed the visiting Fossil Ridge SaberCats softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats meet the Bellevue East Chieftains (Bellevue, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 6. Millard West will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Chieftains go into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 5-4 league win over Omaha Westside (Omaha, NE).
With the loss, Fossil Ridge moves to 3-8 on the season. The Sabercats travel to Millard North (Omaha, NE) to encounter the Mustangs in a A District battle on Friday, September 5. The Mustangs come into the battle with a record of 8-2. Millard North won 15-3 in their recent league battle against Marian (Omaha, NE)
