The Buffaloes now possess a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Checotah for a non-league battle on Monday, September 8. McAlester will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Locust Grove (Locust Grove, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Hugo moves to 0-2 on the season. The Buffaloes host Clayton (Clayton, OK) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 9. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 0-9.
